Standlake Art Group was started in 1993 when a number of like minded people agreed that they would enjoy an opportunity to meet informally for a couple of hours each week to paint.

The Group consists predominantly of ladies, with widely varying levels of experience, who enjoy watercolour, oil, acrylic, silk and Chinese brush painting, pastels and sketching. Outings are organised to Art Exhibitions, Galleries and Museums or country houses.

Paintings are exhibited to the general public at an Art Exhibition or Open Afternoon which is held occasionally at Standlake Village Hall.

We would be delighted to welcome new members - no experience is necessary and you can paint whatever you wish.
